We are building a small, high-caliber team of brokers who think like investment bankers, operate like founders, and understand how to build deal flow in today's market.

Role Description

As an Industry Lead at Wraith, you will originate, manage, and execute sell-side advisory engagements for small and lower middle-market businesses.

The role emphasizes transaction judgment, financial acumen, and relationship development, supported by centralized marketing, technology, and back-office resources.

This role will be focused on a specific vertical/industry. You should come with experience in M&A or operating in that industry and be prepared to become a thought-leader in that industry with the full support of our team.

The firm is open to expanding deal responsibilities (and commission) beyond specific niches over time.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop relationships with business owners considering a sale or liquidity event
  • Advise founders on valuation, timing, positioning, and exit readiness
  • Manage client relationships through the full lifecycle of an engagement
  • Coordinate buyer communications, NDAs, indications of interest, and negotiations
  • Support diligence, LOI execution, and closing processes
  • Build a personal brand through social media and digital channels to generate inbound interest

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, business brokerage, or corporate finance
  • Relevant industry experience required
  • Strong financial literacy and comfort reviewing business financials
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable owning outcomes
  • Social media savvy with comfort building a professional online presence
  • Familiar with outbound sales, CRM systems, and digital lead generation
